incase you dont know:

Halo 3 (regular): Bare bones,standard case-standard game-no extras

Halo 3 C.E.: Not much is known but im geussing a metal tin and a price of 6o-70 dollars (US)

Halo 3 Legendary: Comes with a replica of master chiefs helmet and four disks, 1 is the game,1 is documentaries,1 is red vs blue and stuff like it and 1 is all the clips from halo one-halo 3.

i have a few questions to those who may know:

Is the helmet what holds the games?
how big is it?

Me i will either get Legendary (depending on price) and if not that then C.E.

Hey dudes. I've been wondering for a while. I never had an xbox so no halo 1 nor 2. I also never played it. I'm wondering I should get halo 2 for xbox to play on my 360 for 10 bucks. Or should I just wait for halo 3?

First off, to the person asking about getting Halo 2, of course you should! You should get the original too and play them both in order so the story makes sense for Halo 3.

As far as Halo 3, I'll be going Legendary all the way!

After Halo 2, I'll probably rent it first, then buy the standard game if it is good and takes me more than a day or two to beat. Since I'm not really excited about online play anymore, Bungie will have to actually try to make a worthwhile single player in order to get me interested again. Halo was fine, but a lot of what was decent in the game was downgraded in Halo 2 (health system, pistol, level length, diverse environments). Plus, I literally beat Halo 2 in less than a day. Halo 2 wasn't as well-polished as it should have been, but I hope that, like Devil May Cry 3, Halo 3 will be able to redeem the franchise after the disappointment from the second installment.

One thing that I really want changed in Halo 3: the ability to hold only two weapons. I mean, Master Chief is basically humanity's last hope for survival, and yet he's only able to carry two guns? Not a smart move on humanity's part. I would think that they'd want him strapped like Neo when he goes to save Mopheus. Having a maximum capacity limit would be nice, so that there's still strategy in determining what you would want to carry, like in Resident Evil 4.

see im actually excited about live mostly since really ive been on live for maybe a month or two-tops- so yea. And i think the reason they only chose two weapons is because any more and it would be like you could have the perfect arsenal (imagine 3 weapons You would and could have a close range weapon such as a shotgun,a sniper and a rocketlauncher BAM you can conquere ANY situation with EASE)

But hey whatever its all your opinion and i respect that
i also think campaign in halo 1 was better then H2s but H2s wasnt Horrid it just didnt live up.

Probably C.E. Ledgendary will probably be like $200. And If I buy ledgendary, I'll beat it in about a week and then be ticked off that I sold all my other games to buy it. Then I'll end up playing with the figure of Master Cheif and pobably breaking it. LOL...So, C.E. for me. Let's just hope it doesn't stand for Compact Edition.

I agree. They are awesome games, but having all these packages and that seems like they're milking it for as much money as they can.

indeed i agree with that.
Also not trying to spark a halo sux or halo rox war but
Halo might be the series i have played.

Now you cant call me micrsoft fanboy i have
NES,Genisis,SNES,N64,PS1,GAMECUBE( awsome system just not enough games the good ones were great though) Dreamcast, PS2, DS and the 360.
Notice most are sega/nintendo?
While i do belive that the snes was nintendo's finest none have been horrid. Anyway out of all those games my top 3 favorites would be:

1.Halo :Combat Evolved
2.The elder scrolls IV: OBLIVION
3. Super mario bros 3
