After CF Idol

Post by gamer2 »

Ok,

My journalism class works also on the announcements over the TV. And every day we have a special feature (except for monday), and the schedual goes like this.

Monday: CrowCenter (on almost every day)
Tuesday: CF Idol contestant 1 (a rip off of American Idol)
Wednesday: CF Idol Contestant 2
Thursday: Strazz's Playhouse
Friday: CF Idol: winner announcement

we are ending CF idol at the end of the semester, and we need an Idea for what to do next semester.

I have sugested a film festival where students submit a tape and we play it on the air, and people vote who wins for the week.

Someone sugested a Soap Opera.

What are some other things we can do?

Joke of the day (goes great at our school, and they don't even have to be good!)

Updates on current events (Weather, Sports teams [professional and school], local events coming up, etc.)

Unless you want something less news-channel like.
Hey, sup?

Sounds like a better and more involved group then what my middle school had. Which was just "Multi Media Club" we really just messed around on the Macs in the computer lab making very simple displays, kind of boardering soemthing like a commercial or add. It never got far.

I really would have like a film festival and I think you should try and get it in motion. After all when you're in high school you're willing to do things and play out idea that later in life you're rather die before performing.

That only works if half the school is consuming too much cough medicine.

If you want to get higher ratings you have "make up stories, because they're be far more interesting", lie about celebraties, have hot girls for the 6th graders and panda bears for the kindergardners.

Really nothing beats a goold ol' Star Wars parody.

Foriegn affairs

or Politics

Unless you want something more "fun" (comparitivly) you could have a "most embarrasing video of the week" feature, get people to send in embarrasing videos

Or Just stick with the film festival idea, tis good too
