WTB: 3d Graphics Card (PCI, I think)

Post by Kurt_ »

I'm in need of getting a 3D graphics card for a christmas present, and since shipping takes a while to Canada, I figured I might as well get it now, because it won't go bad or anything.

It doesn't need to be great or anything, either. The computer is as follows (at least what I can remember)

AMD 64 (running at 1.8Ghz or so)
256 mb RAM (Sd, I think)
Decent enough hard drive (40, maybe 20)
All the other standard crap.

The processor and ram is what matters most (in my opinion) when choosing a graphics card.

It's going to be mostly for playing emulated 64 and playstation games, and possibly some other 3d games that will play at 2 ghz.

Once again, it doesn' need to be top of the line, just 3D, and be appropriate for the computer.

Give me a product and make an offer. (I CAN get things cheap off ebay [$20 shipped] but I'd prefer to get it off of one of you guys, simply because there's a lower chance of me getting screwed over)

I don't have one, but what kind of slots do you have (PCI, AGP, etc.)? That could help someone that does have one.

I don't know. It's not mine. Like I said, christmas present.

But It's a standard AMD board. That probably doesn't help much though.

EDIT: I think it's a PCI.
