1. What's the ACT? Is it a national test, or is it a state thing (like the MCAS tests are, here in MA)?
2. What's in the Student Profile section? You're being too vague.

You know, a little information doesn't hurt, either. It's in the student profile section, sure, but what is the actual question? I'd take a guess and say that most of us don't have the entire registration packet memorized.
Also, if your school has more than one counselor (mine had 4) it is possible you could talk with another one.

I'm not into these SAT and ACT and the like which are to get into college. If you do bad on it, a lot of schools don't even look at your normal grades, which is kinda odd since the SAT/ACT is a 3(?) hour test, and it's supposed to determine how much I learned in 3 years of high school. That, coupled with the fact that many schools don't even look at an ACT and the ones that do don't use the SAT, makes it all pointless. So what if I've got a 99 average? If I do bad on this all-knowing SAT, I'm screwed.
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

For those taking it, I have a couple suggestions, coming from a college freshman...
1. Plan to take the test twice. I'll be blunt, that test does some crazy things to you. It messes around with the mind, and is no fun. If you plan to take the test twice, no matter what your score is, it will be more relaxed when you do take it (at least for the first time) Plus, you can get an idea of what the test is like.
2. Do NOT send it to the college you are planning on going to. Instead, send it to your home address. If you want the other colleges to see your scores, you can request a copy to be sent to them afterward. It costs a bit more, but saves you some trouble.

Gotta say, I bombed it when I took it (only got a 26 or some crap). Was going to retake it but I got accepted to college anyways so I figured screw it
Anyways, they pull some tricky things, a lot of questions that seem to be 100% opinion based for answers. Oh...and getting up early on a weekend sucks
