Unless you want the estate of Freddy Mercury on your tail about copyright infringment, I wouldn't do that...ganonbanned wrote:I also am going to use it to make an "enhanced" version of bohemian rhapsody.

It's not like he's doing it for money.Lucretius wrote:Unless you want the estate of Freddy Mercury on your tail about copyright infringment, I wouldn't do that...ganonbanned wrote:I also am going to use it to make an "enhanced" version of bohemian rhapsody.
The copywrite rule in a nutshell is: modify the crap out of it as much as you want as long as it's not for commercial purposes.
If what you said is true, Luc, than making portables would basically be illegal too.

You have no idea of media law! You cannot modify a persons work without their express written consent if they have a copyright that covers that material. God, its not that hard to understand. Just that if its some sad person in their room doing something to a song that no more than about 10 people on the internet will ever hear the modified version then the copyright owners would actually lose money if they tried to take them on in a legal case.NES_fanatic wrote:It's not like he's doing it for money.Lucretius wrote:Unless you want the estate of Freddy Mercury on your tail about copyright infringment, I wouldn't do that...ganonbanned wrote:I also am going to use it to make an "enhanced" version of bohemian rhapsody.![]()
