Is it any good?

I found a 17" LCD with a 500:1 contrast ratio and a 12ms refresh bundled with a DVD player new from Circuit City for $100 after rebates. Will this be good enough for light gaming (WoW and emulator use) or is it just crap? I'm not looking for perfection, I'm looking to replace the CRT I have on the 1.05 ghz frankenstein I put together over the weekend. (On a side note WIN 98 + 1.5 gigs of RAM = error messages for insufficient memory)

I went ahead and ordered the LCD / VCR combo for $100 (after rebates). The specs on the display are a little bit better all around than the Dells I have at work, so it should be fine for what I want. The deal should still be good until 25 NOV if I read the rebate forms right if anyone else is interested. I'll post a short review of the things when they come in to let everyone know if it is a good entry level LCD.

I've been thinking of getting a 17" LCD, I'm shrinking my workspace and it's cramped as it it with my CRT. Got links/is it available online?
