Win a Wii

Thought some of you might be interested in winning a Wii. Toys 'R Us is doing some sort of promotion where they are giving away 50,000 Wii's and DS's combined.

Two envelopes actually. You have to send them an envelope with your address and a stamp on it inside of another envelope addressed to them.

I know it's a pretty steep price of admission for a Wii, but what the hell. You might get lucky and win a DS instead.

@ S.C: Yep. Just address an envelope to yourself, put a stamp on it, put it in another envelope addressed to them with a stamp on it, and mail it. (This scheme is cheaper for them because they can mail things back for free as opposed to bulk mail rates.)

@ jones: If you win a Wii, it's going straight to eBay, isn't it?

A Wii, even if you're not a fan of it, would get you more because you could sell it and buy a DS plus a couple games

That would be the logical option.

I don't think there will be a shortage of Wiis (that just doesn't look right) though, so I can't imagine I'd be able to get a lot out of it. Although I'm sure I could still get somebody to give me $200 for one (hmmmm).

In all likelihood, I would keep it. I know they're going to bring out a Harvest Moon game for it which will make my wife happy if nothing else.

I was watching Deal or no Deal last night. That show was pretty great. That one woman took the $1000000 case but said "deal".

I think I'll do this. I'm just going to buy one on launch day anyway, so I'll sell the second one if I win.
