Memory Acting Up

Well Iv been getting this error message every month or so and I have no clue how I can fix it. A little help here

Are you running your CPU at a higher bus speed than the memory can handle?

Wow, someone else is having computer problems? Every time i click the "Windows Updates" shield icon in the far right of the taskbar, my computer counts down from 60 seconds and then restarts. I turned updates off, and now everything is fine. But, whats going on.....is Windows entering the "Half-life" stage?

Ok, I have a problem too!! This one is insane. Every once in a while on my laptop, my mouse cursor will have a seizure. Literaly. It jumps from the tops of the screen to the botton, clicking all the while, for two or three seconds, then freezes. I have to press CAD, ALT TAb or like Windows button for it to go back to normal. Any suggestions.

When that happens, go into clock and set your computer time a year back, it won't restart for a year then.

Sounds like the ol' SASSER worm to me... (the "countdown to restart" thing)

Every so often my keyboard goes on ether. I type normally but letters appear one at a time, anywhere from 1 to 5 seconds apart. CPU usage is normal, AVG and Ad-Aware come up clean. Different keyboards do the same thing. Odd.

Joes2silly, I got a memory problem like that once after I opened and closed a ton of programs too much, and rebooting fixed it.

The SASSER virus thing can be stopped by going into command prompt & typing "shutdown -a"...

Ok thanks, i seem to have fixed it. For now just to be safe, i turned off Windows Updates (Seeing as theres been only 6 updates in the last year for me...seems useless honestly.

sometimes when they release patches, its for serious security flaws that are already being exploited. like (this week)

Is there a way i can manualy download those 6 patches i dont have? Seeing as they are so important.

I'd like to see those hackers get passed 3 firewalls (Yea you heard me) 2 are built into my routers (And turned on via the control panel in them) and 1 is McAfee
