I have only an above average understanding of electronics- mainly partaining to linear voltage regulators, which I toiled with for a while when attempting a PCp.
However, when I talk about computer stuff, I often feel embarrased rather than egotistical. I suppose I fear that people will feel hurt if they realize how little they know about the subject. I'm not entirely sure how to explain it.

I usually feel rather embarrassed when I try to explain the simplest things to people and they look at me like I'm some kind of genius, when all the time I am keenly aware of my own relatively ignorance on the subject.

I get that sometimes. Not often though, usually when I lecture someone about something, I know everything about the subjectSir Games-A-Lot wrote:I usually feel rather embarrassed when I try to explain the simplest things to people and they look at me like I'm some kind of genius, when all the time I am keenly aware of my own relatively ignorance on the subject.
