how do i get the mem. card slot off the controller safely
how can i get the memory card slot off the controller without rewiring stuff or destroying the controller?

what do you mean? do you simply want to remove the slot to save space? or do you want to relocate it somewhere else. if you simply want to remove the slot, you'll have to desolder all the points that connect the slot to the circuit board. if you want to relocate the slot, you will have to do that and then run wires from the controller to the slot.steeler12 wrote:how can i get the memory card slot off the controller without rewiring stuff or destroying the controller?

If you dont have one, get a de-soldering iron from radioshack. It's only like 7.00, and its sooooo usefull. And I tried and failed getting it off with a normal soldering iron.
