one question, This device is completely for dev purposes, right?
Does that mean no saving of games? of could one probably play games ment for the n64's internal cart to save by inserting a Dummy cartridge to act as a mem card?
or would dev games (that are ment to be played via disk) that one wants to actually play through have to be on the n64'2 jumperpack mem system?

There is a cheaper one here among other disk systems/dev kits if anybody is interested.

Er, no, it might be named "backup" but I'd guess 90% of people who had one used it to play games others had pirated. It's also very useful for homebrew development.
Backup kits for the N64/SNES? Forget about it, unless you're willing to pay upwards of a few hundred dollars plus huge shipping fees if the seller's in a different country.
