FS/FT (maybe?) iPod Mini Green 1st gen 4gb

Comes with clear case, green iPod Mini 1st gen, 4gb. I opened it to change the battery, some scrating on rather unnoticable parts. Works ok, but says that it is out of battery, but will reset and play for another 4 hours. Weird?
