WTB: A NESp made from these materials...!

Post by schn4rk »

Hi there! The idea here is this: I have a Super Joy III and a GameBoy Color. You have made at least one NESp before and can show me what it looks like. We agree on a *rough* price, including whatever extra materials would be needed (yes, I know the GBC screen cannot be used, for instance!).

I send you the Super Joy III & GBC. You work for as long as you need to, and produce a NESp for me that looks AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE like an unmodified GBC. Note: I want to be able to plug in my NES cartridges, so that would be the biggest cosmetic problem - the NES Boy does a great job, IMO.

Then we agree on a final price, based on any unexpected materials needed and/or time taken to complete the project. I pay you, you send me the finished article.

This plan has the advantage of presenting no risk to anyone but me - I send you materials, you get paid before I get my NESp back!

Anyone willing to work with me on this one, PM or post here. Any more general comments or questions about what I want, post here so everyone can read! :D

Look up on Amazon, Intec Screen Pad, and I guess that is what you need to supply for a screen. Also, a GBC is too small for the project you're talking about, sorry :( You need a Game Boy original.

Actually... mod the battery holder and it should be alright as long as you are alright with the cart sticking out the back and being wider than the system itself! :P

That causes a problem, as your grip is messed up if it goes from bottom-up or top-down and if you stick it out the back, that causes balance issues :(
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

G's NESboy did alright. >_> Although I still don't like out the back, if the public is alright with it, I am too. That is why I don't really like scherubino's work. He taked everything i work hard for, and eliminates it with quality loss and gets applauded for it. No offense, but I have wanted to say that for a while. >_<

Scherubino either stuck a pcb in horizontally to make it real thick or made it stick out the back. I don't like out the back. That does cause issues.
