radica cart port, what am I doing wrong?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Ok I followed the pinout to the letter on the radica cart port mod and I am just getting a black screen, someone with experience please tell me What am I doing wrong?

What model radica are you using. I've got a bad feeling the street fighter / sensible soccer ones may be different or worse fixed.

Can anyone prove me wrong, currently have a SF radica.

Also are you soldering onto the chip, do the games still work?

Have you double and triple checked your wiring? Sometimes a small mistake can happen and not be obivious.

ok have doublechecked my wiring its all good, I am using the arcade ledgends 2 (the one with sonic 2) and it is rev:A-1.3 I have disabled the rom chip by cutting some of the traces on the chip itself and the main cart I am trying to use is the sonic and knuckles cart I followed the pinout exactly and am still just getting a black screen and no sound someone help please.

1: S&K is incompatible
2: Use a known game
3: turn the cartridge round.
