Logging in Twice

Post by Kurt_ »

I don't know if it's my computer of the site. But most of the time, I have to log in twice to log in.

(Ex: I log in, it brings me the the main forum as Logged out, do it again and it works.)

Does anyone else get this? Is there a way to fix it? What's it caused by?

You are likely login in on http://www.benheck.com/phpBB/index.php, the site is really at http://benheck.com/phpBB/index.php. If you simply don't have "www" infront it will not make you login twice.

That used to happen to me, and when I finally got logged in all the threads were marked read so I didn't know what was new.

A simple solution I found: click 'log in' at least five times rapidly, then after you've entered your name and password hit enter at least five times. Awkward but true.

after you log in the first time... hit refresh if it says you are logged out and see what happens.
