Oops, it's actually not the n64 that's fried (I'ts my brain). I just forgot to put the cart & jumper pack in?

Well, how long did you run it without proper heatsinking, as shown in the picture?

It should be fine if it was only for a few minutes, but if he beat Super Mario 64 on it in one sitting, it could be toast.

Did you have to drill the holes in the blocks? The holes in mine are really shallow, and I don't think a screw would hold very well.

No, no drilled holes. I just used the orig heatsink with orig screws. It's as snug as a bug in a rug!

Hm, some of the blocks must have holes it them and others don't, thats weird. I hope the N64 I might be getting from gamer2 has holed blocks. At least I know that you guys aren't crazy enough to drill into the blocks.
