Downgrade?

K, I just got a PSP. I dunno how to get a downgrader, or even tell what version of firmware I have.... Anyone able to help me? (Downgrading isn't illegal is it? If it is, feel free to delete this post, but I'm confident that it's not. Hope I'm right

)

Go to Settings -> System Settings -> System Information.
In System Software, it will say your firmware version.

You can downgrade 2.71 and 2.00 PSP's without any extra stuff. You can downgrade 2.50 and 2.60 PSP's but you need GTA to do those but if you had one of those you can just upgrade to 2.71. Please tell me what version of firmware you have so I can help you get back to 1.50.

Also, look here. If it says IC1003, do not downgrade, it will brick.

check your firmware first...

also, go to www.***-****.com for the best tutorials on downgrading. That's what I used and it works great.

I've got 2.6. Also, is that just a strange pic or are there white psps that I've never seen?

That's not the dashhacks network, it was something else that had dumps of the 1.50 firmware, which is illegal.

@Mageslayer, does it have IC1003? If it does, don't downgrade. If it does not, PM me for help with the 2.71 downgrader.

Yup, there are white PSPs in Japan and Europe I believe.

I gotta be so lucky, I have downgraded now a total of three times, and the third tie is lucky. I accidentially put the 2.71 downgrade files on my 2.6 PSP and I thought it bricked...it didn't! I'm so happy because a piece of plastic says 1.5...then again..

They are posting downloads with 1.50 dumps, I suggest going to QJ where they post nothing illegal.

Everything, the entire pack, I kept opening photo, but it crashed, then I realized my error. Here's the only odd thing. I have GTA: LCS in with 1.5, and as soon as I turn on my PSP, bam, it says: You must upgrade system software, but I just press O.

Can someone show me the BEST SNES for PSP emulator?

Before I download, apparently it's 'full' speed? And about devhook, is it a piece of 'average' homebrew that I just put through KXploit? Or what?
