I doubt the world will end in 2012, hell Nostradomus had visions (not prophesises) up around 3000 a.d.

And the whole the world's going to end has been played to death, no ones scared anymore. Especcaly after the big let down that was Y2K.

The rest of us can probably protect ourselves with the thick levels of lead-based solder, discarded cases, and RF sheilding normally found in our workshops. The lead should protect us from any radiation from nuclear warheads as well. ^^

IMO, the Bible Code is complete BS. You can find hidden messages in any book if you look long enough, and the more pages it has the more likely you are to find them. I can't believe otherwise respectable mathematicians waste their time on that kind of stuff.

Maybe because there is something to it. How deep have you looked into it?

Edit: I just realized the layers of RF sheilding may also protect us and our precious portables against EMP... O_o

I saw a two-hour special about it on the Discovery channel. Heard about when it originated, all the 'predictions' of the past they found, and potential future ones, etc. I'm pretty sure it was on the same night the special about how the Apollo moon landings were a hoax was on...

Don't worry! Our government will send a rag-tag, humourous and diverse team of alcoholic oil drillers (led by Bruce Willis) to blow that sucker outta the sky! And when it goes we'll see several camera angles of each explosion, with a soundtrack by Faith Hill & Aerosmith!

Dont for get Morgen Freeman could also have NASA send up a group of astronuts that completely botch the job and the only why to save us to to run their massive spave craft into the larger asteroid and we still get hit.

It just means your icon reminds us of the Microsoft Windows Icon a little. Just a little "in" joke.
