can you make a NES 4 score

Post by humanman42 »

is it possible to make a NES 4 score, or anything that will do the same thing?

i posted this in technical question and answers, i did the question, but nobody answerd.

a simple yes or no will suffice really. a link, or something.

i found a famicom 4score type thing, but it said it wont work for nes.

ive been looking for a few days now.

please help

Duplicate thread (tech Q&A) locked and deleted.

Why do you want to make a Four Score, anyways? You would have to track down 2 NESes and salvage the controller ports, not to mention it only worked with a dozen or so games...

4 player Gauntlet is worth the trouble. :)

I'd try ebay or local junk shops, I think I paid $2 or something for mine.

hmm...I think the 4score just takes the controller lines and sets their single pulse signals in a line...you might be able to do that with a clock divider and some switches..
