LCD montor acting screwy

I have a 17 inch Samsung LCD monitor. I have had it for about 5 months now. Every so often the brightness option will pop-up and I cant close it! Eventually it will go away, but what the heck is wrong with it?

The button is contacting for no reason? If it's a tact switch, try replacing the tact switch.

no, the contrast menu just pops-up randomly (is that jizz on my keyboard?..sorry off topic)

Is it a button that is usually used for activating the menu? If it's contacting for no reason, the menu will come up.

its a SyncMaster 731 B, I just restarted my computer and it looks fine but ill keep you posted

well, I was just gone the weekend and now it wont power up.. Im gonna go take it best buy
