Anyone have one? I ordered one from Ebay, but I fear it may be lost in the mail

. I need one to finish a birthday present for a pal of mine. If someone has a spare they could just send me in an envelope, I would be eternally grateful!

No, I do not. I've looked all over my motherboards for one, and I simply can't find one.

Just ask for a 7805 and the needed resistors then. 7805's are a lot more common than 7808's.
