Also, some games are worth it for the virtual consoles. I would pay 10 bucks for ogre battle 64, if it is supported by the virtual consoles, which I hope it is.

I know the little kids out there will "attempt" to flame me on this one, so I'll say this first. I don't support piracy, and I already know that downloading roms is possible...but I don't support piracy!!! GROW UP!!!

Now...the prices of these downloads are silly, however, I think I would rather pay 10-20 dollars for "Chrono Trigger" (no load times or lag) then pay anywhere from $60 and up! Other games...yeah, they need to work it out, however...others fit nicely into this category.

I wasn't a fan of Microsofts XBox at all and the only reason I wanted it was for one game, "Ninja Gaiden". The 360 comes out, and a classmate goes crazy hyping it up. Fine, I play some games...not really convinced...BUT, the old school games is what got me! Playing "Gauntlet", "Frogger", "Pacman", "Smash TV", etc. with others out there and seeing who really is better...challenging old school games...THAT is what I want. I didn't mind paying five dollars for pacman or even frogger to challenge others and see who is better. I didn't mind paying ten dollars to play streetfighter against people all around the world and get a REAL challenge.

Nintendo can make lots of sales, however, they really need to think about extending the network capability a wii bit more than just offering the connection service free. I'll still purchase the Wii...however, not until at least six to eight months down the road when they release a new line up of corrections and updates like every other console and handheld does.

That's my two cents for ya here...

Hey, I saw a video of a movie being played on the Photo Channel... Anyone know what format the movies can be? Because you can just take movies from your computer, put them on an SD card, and play them on the Wii, right?

I can't help, but laugh my ass off at this. Hilarious! I'm talking about wireless remote functionality and you offer up the biggest debacle (debatable) in the history of Nintendo with a wire and a toggle switch hanging out of it? Priceless!

haha. hey, i never said it was any good, you just said that nintendo had never had a controller with power button on it and i proved that wrong. You didnt say it had to be wireless.

Btw, i actually liked tennis for the virtua boy...

True.

I did not qualify my statement.

I just couldn't believe somebody actually broke out the Virtual Boy! You must be a REALLY hardcore Nintendo fan!

It was pretty much meant to be portable, but you are right that it did have a power switch on it just the same.

I remember that came out when I was going into my Senior year of high school and I worked at Wal-Mart at the time. We had tons of those things laying around and nobody would buy them. By the time the Holiday season rolled around the year after it came out we were selling them for $20 each just to get rid of them. I still think the only reason they sold even then is because people thought "Oh, look at this. I can buy my niece/nephew a video game system from Nintendo for Christmas for $20!!!" Little did they know their nice/nephew was about to have their first migraine.

Hmmm... Never heard of getting cancer from a Virtual Boy.

Only migraines and the occasional seizure.

Too bad you weren't in the market for one 10 years ago. You could have bought them all day long for the equivalent of a handful of dirt.

Also, if Nintendo has anything to do with cancer then I think we're all screwed.

I know I've played my fair share of Nintendo products over the years.
