Here you can see my older-than-dirt, color-most-of-the-time Sony 19" TV. It may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts.

I have all my game systems (NES, N64, GC, PS2, Xbox) connected to my fancy automatic video switcher. The games and movies and suchlike are on top of the TV.

And I have my uber-cool surround sound system with my 40 cent speaker mounts that I made. Piece of wood + bent screw = speaker mount

I also have my DVD recorder, my VCR, and my Laserdisc player connected somehow.

That's what I'm saving for... Right now I'm stuck with a small lcd Philips television and a Panasonic stereo system.

I am a very messy person.





Good old Emerson TV from goodwill connected to cable/VCR/N64.





Newer tv from walmart with component input and +standard res (only by a little and no P/i scanning). Has sync problems. Hooked up to DVD recorder/Xbox/Cable/Flashback 2 (or at least would be if the A/V cable would reach the switcher).




Retro gaming PC for playing Win98 and DOS games. Yes that is a roll of electrical tape stuck to the wall.




CED player and analog video editing pad neither of which I have figured out how to work due to lack of media. And cable of sufficient length. I opened the CED player and there is actually a schematic of the entire thing pasted to the inside of the top half.

My house keeping habits remind me of Sherlock Holmes .



EDIT: and I can make the two TV's do neat stuff like show the same thing and dub home videos to DVD etc. And it's nice to be able to watch the preview channel on one screen and shows on the other.

Finally got out of my chair and went to get the camera... Ok here is my room for the 127th time...



That's where I put all my console's. The video goes through a 10m long high quality (read: expensive) cable directly to my small tv...



I also like Zelda a lot and stuff...



And swords n' stuff...



And Final Fantasy...



So a lot of people would think that I'm a geek...

Yep sure is, my policy is "Unless it absolutely, positively won't fit, keep it" so I pretty much have everything I ever owned stuffed in this room! (except my bed and a few other essentials I keep upstares) It's kinda cool every time I "clean" (or do what ever it is I do that sort of resembles cleaning) to go through the "physical archive".


And you got your hands on a Jet Black DS Lite you lucky son-of-a-bucket!


But what's the console next to the NES, it looks like it might be some kind of TG-16 but I'm not sure.

The console is actually a Philips CDI-450, I bought it just to play 2 of the 3 zelda games I own for it. They are: Zelda's Adventure and Link: The faces of evil. I don't now which one is worse...

I don't have a setup per se, just my 'Cube sitting in front of my TV, connected to the back with a universal S-video cable (and to the stereo with some extension cables, but that's another story).

The wiring job on the entertainment center is nice though. I did it myself, and it took several years to get it right. Two 40' audio cables run from the computer, under the carpet, down into the basement, around the corner, and up, out a hole in the floor to the stereo. From there, 4 speaker wires come down into the basement (the other one goes up to the left front speaker), and up in their respective places. Back at the stereo, two more cables go down through the hole, over 20 feet and up to the TV. From the stereo (again), three cables go down the hole, over 20 feet to the place under the end table above the outlet, and up. I originally used that as a hookup for my 'Cube, since it was closer to me (and negated the need for controller extension cables). If we ever get a receiver that supports S-video, I will run a fourth (plus one more to the TV and two more to the computer) and use that and the first video cable for Y/C. In the meantime though, I just want to figure out a way to disconnect my 'Cube and hook up something else without physically doing so.

Here is my game area (the 48 in. hdtv is upstairs and not used for games, stupid burn in ). The reason for two tv's is that we don't have any way to hook two systems to one tv, none of the tv's or vcr's have two inputs. Xbox is on the bigger one, N64 on the other.
