What're those wire connector things you're using? I guess I'm pretty old school and just use eletrical tape, but those look interesting (if a bit big..).

think a 7808 is bad compared to smashing up a GCp, it caused a few electrical problems but the case got pretty much ruined cosmetically im lucky aquidor was so patient
EDIT: I just noticed something, your using the stock heatsinks on that mobo?! Shame! SHAME SHAME SHAME! Get some new ones. Trust me, its worth it. And, TT, the hotglue isnt on the heatsink, its covering all the contacts on the hb317. I really wish that my mobo would be older...
Those wire connector things are called Posi-Lock they have them at walmart(www.posi-products.com). They are kinda expensive, but I really hate soldering.
CronoTriggerfan,
I'm trying to keep this portable as simply as humanly possible. So right now for the case I'm thinking of using the standard aluminum strips & plastic.

Those're fricken cool dude. Going to have to pick some of those up at some point. Thanks.
Okay, that's enough off-topic posts for me. Back on topic!
That little pink girly Disney book thing frightens me!

Ya, those are just to transfer the heat to the heatsink, they do almost nothing! So use something else or put actual heatsinks on them.
Don't worry though it belongs to my 4-year old daughter (pink disney book).
Krepticor,
Not too sure what type of led's they are, I got them from daguuy. There are 4 of them though. 4 seems to do a real nice job!
vskid and shockslayer,
I haven't even though about heatsinks yet. I've been too worried about trying to get everything all hooked up. Then I had a bit of an issue getting sound. It turned out I had to connect the 3-headphone wires.
looking good so far . IIRC, those LEDs are 10,000mcd 35º. they look really good if you use the brightness mod with them . did you do the brightness mod? and those little metal blocks won't keep it cool for long, it needs heatsinks. i once accidentally left mine on for about a minute or 2 without them and it got almost too hot to touch
