You think the forum can have some level thing...like I see on other forums below the username (Level 10- Pacman)...you think we can have somethign like that here, but more portable orientated? Like a Level 20 (max) being Heckendorn? Cool/Possible, or not? Personally, this is the first forum I was/am 'in to' and need some pseud-recognition, like a level under my name

Based on post-count? Meh, that's pretty cool, but it would be sweeter if we did it by portables/sweet mods completed, or general 1337ness of hacks. I know they're trying to set up a system for titles; would this be any different?
In phpBB, ranks can be set to special or by post-count. Senior Member is a special one, right now there are no post-count ones. All a post-count system would do is encourage Spammage.
Not necessarily. If you enforce the "no spamming" rules heavily enough (and ban outright spammers…), you can have a successful system going. However, I know m2k2 used to have a good system, and the webmaster removed it at the first mention of "how do I increase my rank?".
