Some games are Romanji... (I know some &/or all Metroid games are (I think))CronoTriggerfan wrote:Haha, good luck with that! Really? I may have to check that out! I know almost ALL RPGs are in kanji, so that was what I was going on.atari2600a wrote:Some games are Romanji... I believe the reason Japan gets all the goodies (Club Nintendo) is simply because it's Nintendo's home turf. You HAVE to give your homeland first priority, business-wise, so-to-speak. The reason Europe gets second-best prizes for its game-buying program is because historically, Europe gets boned as far as release dates/availability goes. So to make it up, Nintendo is giving them some good "freebies". So why not N.A.? Well, hell. We aren't the home country, and we aren't shafted for nearly every game release. *shrug*
I just wish we got those cool, COOL game soundtracks. No, not the truncated, Americanized ones either. I'm talking EVERY SINGLE SONG from the game, Nintendo Power.

Here in Belgium we used to have Club Nintendo. I even have some old copies from the golden era left. You guys shouldn't complain, cause you've still got Nintendo Power. We have no official Magazine available and THAT sucks!
Check out Nintendo's official store online and you'll notice that the products are only available for Canada and the US. Now tell me, how unfair is that?

That's NOA, so it makes sense. Nintendo Japan has a different site. nintendo-europe.com is NOE's site.sammy wrote: Check out Nintendo's official store online and you'll notice that the products are only available for Canada and the US. Now tell me, how unfair is that?
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

Yes, but Nintendo Power's givaways suck! Once in a while there's a DVD with some previews on it, sometimes there's a poster or a calender. There was ONCE an NES game (I forget which game it was, but it was a good game), but that's the best we've ever gotten!sammy wrote:You guys shouldn't complain, cause you've still got Nintendo Power.
