Well lookie there, sony fixed the tiff exploit. they added a "security patch". Don't bother updating, they didnt add any gimicks like streaming video. grr

All they added was +4gb support.

2.81 is already decrypted thanks to Dark_AleX. Now all we need is BOOSTER to work on Devhook support, or NAND emulation (NAND emulation will OWN!)

so... they didn't fix the exploit? I still won't download it. I have a 256mb memory stick so I don't need it.

so... they didn't fix the exploit? I still won't download it. I have a 256mb memory stick so I don't need it.

They fixed the TIFF user-mode exploit, but we have the 2.81 decrypted and stuff, for devhook and research.

Don't expect a 2.80 downgrader for a long time too.
