Xbox Error 16 (dashboard)

Well I modded my xbox and after a few weeks it started to give me a error code 16 but it would still play games. So I researched and figured out the dashboard was messed up. How can I fix this? My xbox dosent realy read burnt CDs

Use the Ndure 1.0 for Mechassault and try to fix it.

Hope you made backups, otherwise you are screwed.

Actually, after insperatioin struck while I was eating a burrito at lunch today... I am going to hotswap it with my friends other sofmoded xbox (they are both softmoded)

PS I already deleted the linux game save I used to mod it so Ill use my friends working xbox
