It depends on your tastes. It's a turn-based game, and I hate it. If it were an RTS, it may be ok, but not good in it's current form.

I have it, I love playing it, but I stink at it. :(
It's okay, you should try it out before buying to make sure it's your kind of game.

sadly the only way for me to rent the game is through gamepro unless gamepot lets you try the games before you buy

I have it. I also hate turn-based games. However, this one was pretty fun.

I liked it. It's crazy hard near the end....very frustrating. I'm usually not the fan of turn based games either.

i have enjoyed advance wars from the GBA version. i think people dont give it enough credit because of the turn-basedness. it still is rife with strategy, much like a giant, badass game of chess.

perhaps some people would rather act than think. in that case, i guess this game would come off as a bit boring. but if you like it, the replay value is 100%.

Yeah, advance wars was better on the famicom :D. Although, i still don't like turn based, as the only turn based things I'm good at are <s>chess</s> none. I'm not good at TBS.

I bought the game, and It was great until it got really hard. The only thing I don't like about that game is trying to plan out moves in the fog of war.

I'm sure you could find "a completely legal copy":P of the GBA advance wars online. If you like them them, then you'll like dual strike. If you hate them, then you'll hate dual strike.
