Electronics classes at school

people still use assembly for microcontrollers.

Last year, I took AP Computer Science A, and loved it. The class is completely devoted to learning Java, which was very helpful. This year, I'm taking the second part, AP CS AB, which is much more convoluted because the book has a replacement for Swing that is unusable in our IDE, so we have to convert to Swing ourselves (or just beg the teacher to let us use the command lineâ€¦).

there no elctrorinic class at my high school we do some electionics in scieince but nothing really but i dont really care I like teck and auto shop welding and building cars up kicks making electriconic stuffs ass anyday

No electronics courses, but for some reason there are soldering irons in the construction lab?

Nevertheless, that could work out for me. Catch my drift?

Also, I'm taking a computer tech course and I'll have the choice of learning basic Windows, web-design or multimedia. I think I'll take web-design. But then again... if I took Windows then I could pretty much pass with 100%

Taking a course on CAD design as well. That's going to be pretty 1337.

When I was in highschool, nothing was offered because my town was full of thieves (mayor and his crew).

I'm looking into the education/electronics field, and if everything works out well, I'll make the offer to the board of ed and showing them everything. As of now, they said they like the offer, however, they cannot do anything til I have a teaching certificate (which makes sense). Something that would really help out the younger crowd now-a-days.

my school offers 8 classes like that. i tried ot get into digital electronics and c++ but instead i got into principles of engineering. my school's the only one on my district (parkway) that offers them though.

My school offers lots of electronical subjects. We get: PLC, Telecom, Digital Techniques, Analog Techniques, Networks, Programming in C, Projects, Capacity Electronics, ...

We have almost too many electronicy based classes, we have:
Acounting I and II
Computer Aps I and II
Advanced Computer Aps
Calculator Programing And Animation
Drafting Basic
Drafting Mechanical
Drafting Architectual
CAD
Advanced Cad And 3D Modeling
Java Programing

At the end of the trimester, all the kids in Java hook up the LAN in the room and play Quake 3 all day! That's just how cool the teacher is.
