There. That's two in place of the one you requested. Plus, how much would you have to spend on a PC to get Oblivion to look and play as good as it does on a 360? Something tells me that it would be a lot more than the $300 or $400 that it would cost to put a 360 in your living room. Plus, you'd be playing this wonderful game on a screen much larger than 19".

Both of you said Halo 3, which I knew you would say. Also, GRAW is on PC.
Plus, Halo 3 doesn't count, as it's not out yet. Without it, you've got nothing. Also, it's still a Halo game, so I don't really care too much. The only good thing that's come of halo is Stubbs

what about Gears of War, it was playable at E3 and was loved by all. Also, Army of 2 (PS3 and X360) is supposed to rock pretty hard. I think it releases next spring but i could be wrong

Ah, two more games that aren't out yet. I still expect names of games out now, not future games that come out after I've spent my money on a Wii.

well gears of war is a xmas release, so it will be out by the time that wii will. Also, IGN did an article about games of fall and i'm sure will do one about games of xmas in october or so. Since i dont have a 360, i dont know everything that is going to come out, but i'm sure that i'm forgetting something.

What no witty comebacks for the two I mentioned. Neither is a perfect game, but they are both pretty good. Plus, they are both available right now along with Dead Rising.

So which way are you leaning? 360, PS3, or Wii? Sounds like 360 judging by your posts...

I'm actually going to grab a Wii.

I had a xbox (original) and it was a good system, but i missed out on all of the gamecube games (wind waker, SSBM, double dash, metroid prime) and want to pick those up, along with the new games. I'm also a huge fan of the wiimote and intuitive control

Ah, sorry didn't see that post. My PC screen is as large as my TV, 21". I've already invested my money into a great PC, so the PC version of oblivion runs as good (if not better) than the 360 one. Saints Row, one I forgot, a good GTA clone. Although, I'd have to say it DOES have better features. Project Gotham Racing 3: The PS3 has Grand Turismo, in 1080P or something, isn't that better? Still, good games. Jones, you're right. Of course, I'm still not buying a 360, but those are very good games I had forgotten.
Also, another reason I just came up with (somebody else probably already said this

) The experience is different on the Wii then on my PC. The 360 has a controller, which I can use on my PC, making the console in the middle USELESS (against MY pc, that is). The Wii (which I can't judge till Nov/Oct) has a different control scheme, one I can't use in front of my PC, even if it was a PC accessory, as my PC monitor is nowhere near as far away as my TV is when I play games (Another reason my 21" monitor is better then even a 30" TV, distance). Now, if I were to take all the exclusive titles, and put them on all the consoles, the only console now worth buying is the Wii. The Ps3 (ignoring the price tag) is still just an expensive console (or, if you prefer, a cheap blu-ray player). The Xbox360 is an under-powered PC (still comparing to my PC, not a normal, stock, workstation thing). The Wii, oddly enough (not really) still has something going for it: The concept.
Once again, I apologize for a long, boring post/rant.

yea if not at launch for christmas. I will most likely pick up Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, SSB:B, and get some virtual console games and possibly some gamecube games.

Its too bad super mario galaxy isnt a launch game because i'm pretty pumped for that too.

EDIT: actually totokan, to clear it up PS3 was now announced to NOT support 1080p. Also, just to get it to support HD, you must buy the 600 dollar package with the HDMI port, then get a 75 dollar HDMI cable. This is all to get something that is comparable to the experience on 360.

PGR3 for 360 also has some pretty neat online modes where you can actually watch on Gotham TV (i think thats the name) the best racers in the game playing, and some other innovative features that PS3 won't have.

Lastly, the xbox 360 triggers are much better for racing and to be honest all gaying over PS3. It is about a half inch pull (i'm sure you know what i'm talking about) where the PS3 shoulder buttons use tact switches which arent pressure sensitive i believe, and even if they are pressure sensitive, it doesnt give you the same level of control as 360

SSB:B is coming out around April 2007, sorry can't get it for x-mas.
