Famicom Disk Information + My NESp Idea

Post by Gunnex »

To all who may be concerned:
THE FAMICOM DISK SYSTEM DOES WORK WITH A FAMICLONE AND AN ORGINAL NES!!!
There is no "Expansion Port" that it plugs into, a cable (12 pin) goes from the disk system to the ram cart which is plugged into the cartridge slot.

FDS on a GBASP Famiclone:

FDS on an NES:

Do not be told otherwise.

As for my NESp, it's really a PSOne screen with a dock for a Yobo NES (because it's THE family system) and it has a ribbon cable that connects to an added port on the NES so the unused Expansion pins can be used for alternate system setup through the cartridge slot. Lovely eh?

From what I know, they read a wikipedia that was written by an inexperienced gamer and was thinking about the potential NES version.
