What is Xgame station?

I know its a developing system but i was wondering if you hooked it into your computer or if it was a system all by itself. And does anyone have it and how easy is it to use.

It uses the parrelel port on a computer to program.

From what I understand, it is a separate console with a port for flashing an onboard EEPROM. You do have to connect to the PC via that port to do anything useful, but it does hook straight up to the TV and works by itself (so long as you have put a program on it). You can apparently also put programs on removable carts so you can have multiple games sitting around.

From the looks of things, it doesn't seem to be worth how much they want for it. I bought a GP32 for less than that, and the GP32 is much more powerful, does a lot more (multimedia, emulators, etc), and is just as open to homebrew. Oh, and it's portable
