WTF?!?!?! PLAY is awesome, you bastard! I went this year; they only play music WORTH hearing in full-orchestra, like Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and Zelda. Geez.

Haha, no problem. But yes, PLAY! is definitely worth going to if you are into RPG/Adventure game music. But you really do have to appreciate the orchestrated half of things to enjoy yourself, like I did. Then again, it's also cool to SHAKE THE HAND OF NOBUO UEMATSU HIMSELF!!!!!!

I wanted to go to the first one in Chicago, but couldn't afford the cost of a hotel + travel.

Yeah, that would be quite the haul for you up there in the boonies! They had one in Detroit as well, you know!

Look, I'm not saying that I don't go to "normal" concerts as well; it's just unlike mainstream American kids nowadays, I listen to a wide range of music. And BTW, DragonForce PWNZ Metallica.
