Neither, I didn't even get the Cube until 2003. I got it at Meijer on super Saturday for $100 instead of $150.

what I measn by incomplete is that you have to pay extra for all the other goodies, meaning that the DVD Drive in it isn't an HD DVD drive (100 dollars extra) and the PS3 might have free online capabilities, that is another benjamin down for playing xbox360 games

Thatis what I mean by incomplete, as in not everything is included with the initial product, the PS3 has it going for me over the 360 since it has the blu-ray already and a hard drive in the cheaper model

But whatever that is my opinion
That's understandable. To me the 360 not having that stuff is an advantage, because the system is cheaper and I can choose to add the HD-DVD player later if I want. It's not forced on me. Plus, the HD-DVD player will come in at closer to $200 I suspect, but a year's membership in Xbox Live is only $50 and not $100. Plus, if you're only into playing the Massive Multiplayer games you can play them online without having to pony up the $50 for the gold plan. Whether or not the software vendor charges a monthly fee to play those games is another matter...

Plus, there's a difference between having online free and having what Xbox Live has to offer. It is yet to be seen if Sony can offer anything comparable to Xbox Live in the online area. If they can't do much better than relying on their software vendors like they have with the PS2, I'll gladly cough up the $50 to get all of the extra bells and whistles that Xbox Live has to offer. But that's just me.

As you said, everyone has an opinion. To me Blu-Ray is not important, but to you at is and as a result will have an impact on the system you buy. For me it was more about the games. The Xbox 360 has many I want to play, but unfortunately the same cannot be said for the PS3 or the Wii at this time.

The only PS3 game I had an interest in was Gran Turismo HD. However, I read the other day that this is now going to be little more than a port of Gran Turismo 4 for the PS2 with updated graphics. If this is the best Sony can do I don't think Nintendo or Microsoft have much to worry about.

I wish they'd do something like that now but they haven't had anything good in the super saturday ad for a while now.

I was going to buy the wii at launch--neat controller, but an assortment of lousy worn-out games (just my opinion, since I've saved those princesses many times before).

instead I got a gyromouse for my home theatre PC. it plays like a console, looks better than a console, and has a gyro-based controller. best of all, I don't have to attempt to save the ______ kingdom and free the ______ princess.

I swore off PC gaming for the last 10 or so years, now I can't think of a reason to go back to console. ...well, maybe the new forza...

I've already preordered the Wii for about 2 months. I think it wil be a rush for the Wii if that many people are gonna buy it on launch day.
