Still unsolved!: The Videogames Mystery Song Thread!

Post by NES_fanatic »

I always enjoyed doing these at my old forums. Let's see if people know their game music as well here!

There are only a couple rules: I, the starter of the thread, post a game song, and the first person to correctly guess it, gets to post the next one. That's easy enough. ONLY the person who guessed the previous song can post another mystery song.

My songs are kinda obscure, so I'll post two of them. The first one to correctly identify one of them gets to go next!

Here's an old one...

This one's a bit more recent... <==The time bar on this song says 36 senconds on my browser, but the song is 1:30 and should keep playing past the supposed end.

Hey, I own that game! I'd check it out, but unfortunatly, I currently have no functioning nintendo of mine within a 10-mile-radius.
The first one has sort of a NES feel, I'd agree with TT.
Also, I'd say the second one is from some sort of FPS. I can't tell what it is exactly.
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

Totokan is on a roll.......

It's not fighting golf though.

If nobody can guess, I can give the answers and let the closest man (totokan for now) go up..

I would love to guess...but is there a way you can upload the files a different way? My job has it blocked from any kind of streaming...I can download it if you have a link like that?

Not that you're right (or wrong) but that potentially right, or perchance wrong, answer can only have a chance of maybe being right, given it's the correct answer, if a specific game is mentioned, and that being the correct game, maybe; but who says that said series even might have the game perhaps featuring the mystery song in question, given the aforementioned series in its nature was the correct choice after all?

The first one sounds like an NES Tengen game, the Master System, or Atari 7800. Maybe Ninja Golf?

I know that I know I've heard this. I'm a pretty big NES fan too, ya know. Here is my guess...

*in digitized voice* "Roundball: 2-on-2 Challenge"

EDIT:
Wait. Now I know!!! It's Magic Darts!!! Right?!

ANOTHER EDIT:
Nope. Just listened to the NSF for Magic Darts. It's not that either. Grrrrr.
