kenshin the only way to do that would to have the cartridge internal, but there would be no point to that because it would be just as large as a normal N64p, and only able to play one game.

alright lets go over some basic fundamentals of science like...the law of conservation of matter...

what I mean is that either you come up with a long complicated electrically engineered n64 of you use an old one...the second is what we can do

One game...why?..since it would actually take up more space...

yeah, but you would still be better off with a cart slot, as it would allow you to still use those carts.
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

and having a cart slot actually takes up less room...

This is why a cart slot is only about a 1/2-1 inch tall
then entire cartridge is about 3-3 1/2 inches tall

krep but if you want it to look nice the cart will slide into the back of the portable, taking up the same amount of room, just without something covering it and making it internal.

but it still takes up more room than a cart slot!
the law of conservation of mass says IT AIN'T GOIN TO LOSE ANY MASS!

Hence they will still take more space than a cart slot would so lets end this here...

I believe if an n64 could be made half the size with a limited compatibility and could only play one game... then It would be worth it, but since a cart slot is a small effort (the same or less than hard wiring a game in) then that is the more worth wile endevor

I guess you could bust open the cart case and hardwire the pins, but that would take a while...
