Well, I suggest you should probably talk to her. That's a start. Go on about a story with lots of big words, but make it sound sincere. She'll have no clue what you're talking about and I will laugh.

Ok, so that's not a smart idea. But you should talk to her, and if you already have, then just ask her out.

Just go up and say "Hi". Simple as that. Hopefully natural conversation will ensue after that, or you might just get a very awkward silence.
BTW, since shes an exchange student, does she speak english? If not, just forget it.

Same thing happened to me with a german girl at our school. First of all what language does she speak? Learn some basic phrases and share what you have learned with her. Then what happened with me is she offered to teach me more and I accepted. Its worth a try.


EDIT: by the way I am an accomplished geek/nerd and have also been able to woo a few ladys in my day let me tell you...

Generally what I do is I joke with my friends in front of the girl and then if she thinks I'm funny then BOOYAH!!

EDIT: BTW that's how I got one of my best friends! (Or she used to be but now she has a boyfriend that she won't get rid of and he's an A****** I hate him )

Personally I would get to know her language, learn to converse with her in her native tounge she will fall for you. Also, help her out, show her around the town, and get to know her.

Ne ways on to the ckick... well, all I do is walk up to a girl I want to get to know better, and I say "Hi, you wana do somthing sometime?" Usually she will say ok, sense i'm the_excerament.... (no really, i'm not lying...)Or stair at her form more than a second, most girls know when you do that your thinking about them... Or just go for the shy stalker kind, fgure out hwat she likes, then use that as a conversation piece, figure out what she thinks is funny, I'm not the only cool geeky kid here am I?!?!?!
