WTB - OMG ALL OF THEM!

Post by Mageslayer »

No, seriously.... These portable consoles.... amaze me. I didn't even think it possible until I found this place (note that I have NO knowledge in electronic devices lol). I want to eventually get a bunch of cool stuff, so here's your hance to wow me even more. So ere's your chance to wow me even more. All of you that have made portabe versions of systems, tell me what ya got for sale. Prefered format is as follows:

1: Your name for the system
2: Portabe version of which system
3: Anything (besides looks, weight, etc) that is different from the original (i.e. controls are different, no ethernet capabilities, doesn't support [whatever], etc]
4. Picture
5. Any kind of warranty you have on it or for purchace (if I am required to purchace a warranty, I require a signed document stating that I have purchaced the warranty)
5. Desired price ($US)

Ok, so here's what I am looking for for now, feel free to show other stuff too.... I'll admit, I'm an impules buyer to an extent.

Portable SNES (preferably one where the game doesn't stick horizontally out of the back like the ones featured on ben's site).
Portable PS2 (preferably with a built in controller port rather than a built in control pad.... I = Beatmania nerd)
Portable Xbox360 W/ ethernet port (I doubt anyone can make this..... But maybe I've already been proven worng).

I've been thinking about selling my NESp for a while now, and this came up just as I was thinking about posting it up for sale. I'll consider it a sign from God that it's time to sell :P

1) NES Boy
2) NES! Imagine that!
3) No player 2 port, so no duck hunt. Does have AV out though, so you can play on a large TV.
4) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v510/ ... laying.jpg
5) I've had it since March and nothings gone wrong. But if something were to happen from normal play (not from something like dropping it onto the floor) I'd be glad to try and fix it. Hows a 30 day fix-it-for-free warrantee sound?
5) $160

The only thing you should know is that because I've had it for a while there are a few scratches on the clear coat from carrying it in my pocket. Nothing big, just not as perfect as it once was. Also, when you turn the brightness up high you can see some horizontal lines moving across the screen, you cant see them with it at normal brightness though so it's not really worth mentioning.

Anyways, take a look. If you don't want it, I'll see if anybody else does.

I can try a XBox360. Want to know why noone does it? It costs a lot. A whole lot. I am sure, however, that many of these individuals (myself included, possibly) could do it, if you funded it completely. (note that it will cost a whole lot of dough to do.) I don't have any of them complete that I could sell to you, but I do have experience. Just let me finish the couple I have on my plate already, and I can do one. As a contracting type deal. (note, don't ask for the xbox360 unless you want to readily send me any type of money possible on moments notice) And, I could do the ps2 rather easy. No built in controls, easy. I don't think anyone has those on hand either.

Don't Forget dkap01!

His site portablesystems.net has some of the sweetest portables! And he custom orders!

and don't forget the biggest thing...We all didn't start with electrical knowledge...we learned through a slow and painful process...but we learned and we will be here to help you (and the wiki too, benwiki.tk)

But here Is what I propose, buy a portable to scratch that itch (G-Force has one sweet price) and open it up...Learn...try another portable on your own and enjoy it 100x more since YOU MADE IT with your own two hands...Just a suggestion

It will be a while before I finish this, but:

1. Megadeath
2. Sega Genesis
3. Controller built in, doesn't support CD or 32x
4. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j224/ ... C-001F.jpg *
5. No warrantee
5. $50!!!

*The picture is out dated, I'm going to replace that thumbstick with the pad, and there will be a flip-up screen and a battery pack.
