I am buying a wii,I have $200 torwards it, I will probably need more. hopefully not though, I cant wait to preorder. september 14th is the day on my calender, go to EB games and get a hold. Im staying outside of EB games on a cold, Novmeber evening to get it. Im not even doing that for bat out of hell III! I am skipping school the next day a few of my friends are coming over to play with me. I am already planning it-up in my bed room- wait no on the big screen TV downstairs, The only launch title Im getting is zelda. But no fear, I will be downloading favorites up the ying-yang- sonic, SF2, MK, DUCKHUNT IS GOD- wrecking crew all the classics.

Meh. reserves suck, because at EB games, if you reserve it and you go to pick it up, if they don't have anymore, you have to wait! so you still have to wait in line! F'ing ebgames... I'll wait in line at the local TRU, like I did for the psp and the Ds before it. I only have $50 saved up towards it. The only reason i get it at TRU is because they have no preorders, and nobody cares to wait in front of it since it's next to a Best Buy with a 3-mile-long line (At least, that's how it was for a psp...)
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

I have no interest in the PS3, 360, Wii, DS, or PSP.
They're all just shinier versions of what we have already. It's sort of like Alan Kay's view of computing ("Computing in theory hasn't gotten any better, it's just faster"): Video games aren't any better, they're just fancier.
*hugs Sega Genesis*

Well for all the negitive reasons you guys have mentioned are the reasons I'm not going to get a Wii (I hate that name) or a PS3. Well a PS3 is tempting, all the computer options and features it has I already have access to (Linux, router, 6 USB ports, PS2/1 game playback).
Besides the first run of most consoles have the good chance of a defect. I don't want that happening again after the tray broke on my PS2 (v2xxx).

I assume you are referring to the 360 as an incomplete product? I'm just curious as to what it is you consider "incomplete" about it...Krepticor wrote:I'm gonna get a Wii at launch and wait longer still for the 360 and the PS3
$600 is a lot of dough
$400 is pretty heavy for an incomplete product
$250 is nice and easy!
