well, this is good news for me 1.50 PSP that I upgraded to 2.7, now I can downgrade it again. But do I really want to? I already have another unopened release PSP, and one that I use daily is 1.5 with devhook 2.7...
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

They might not make a downgrader. Who cares? If you can run all of it through the photo menu eLoader, it can stop the worry of ISOz and piracy (which 1.5 is really good for  ).

yah, vb_master, right. They WON'T make a downgrader *wink, wink*.
There's a %99.99999 chance that they will, as this is an easier way then the one they have been trying. Plus, homebrew is easier on 1.5, so why not?

It wouldn't work for all the TA-82 mobos! It makes sense, who would downgrade when you can play all homebrews at the firmware you are currently at?

err.. vb_master, I've got news for you. The ta-82 mobos have been downgradable, and it works. it's a very specialized process, though, and a new code has to be written for every psp itself.

Yes, I know 0okm did it. It takes really long for every PSP though.

Whatever I don't know, the fact that kernal mode is available on 2.7x makes it so you don't have to downgrade. There might be a downgrader released, whatever.

sadly, that's always the first thing that they look into with any firmware update...downgrader! If they can get firmware 2.71 w/o the need of GTA, I'll happily upgrade to that version instead.

Dark_Alex is almost done. One PSP has been bricked by the downgrader, this is because of the input list not being able to be read. Dark_Alex is fixing this as we speak, and will be done tonight or tommorow! This news directly from the IRC channel.

Dark_Alex has made some progress, 6 PSP's have been bricked so far. The problem is that all the 1.50 files are not being flashed. The 1.50 IPL is being flashed, and that is the most important part.

6 bricked PSPs= $1200 of wasted money IF this is the core package. If it's the regular one, that's $1500. And people say the PS3 is expensive...
