Atari paddle and joystick keychains, that plug into a TV!

Wow. I about crapped myself when I saw these. Very awesome, and could herald a new generation of Atari portables, as the combined size of the paddle or joystick and the 'cheater box' as I like to call it is less than that of an Atari joystick.

I'm not sure whether these are redone versions of the games, an emulator running on an SoC, or an AOAC like that in the Flash Back 2. To change switches (like difficulty, color/BW, etc.) you hit the button on the back of the paddle (I've only played with the Pong paddle so far) and move around the paddle to select switches and press fire to toggle it, or to exit that game.

I'll be taking apart the 'cheater box' and paddle later on, however, I'm not really expecting to see anything other glop-tops and wires.

I'll probably record a short video of the interface, games, and menus to put up on Google Video later.

Cool! It would be cool if you could use this for a super-micro atarip, even if it only had preinstalled games

I believe these can be purchased at walmart, based on a couple of things i've read about them, they appear to be an NOAC with some ported games rather than an AOAC with atari roms

If so, then someone should try to use it for a parta! With a system that small, you could be free to design the case without the size contraints of one of the larger boards in the super joy and Yobo type systems.

Actually that would be pretty cool. Get some cheap monochrome video game from a kids meal at taco bell or something, gut it and stuff this inside

Even if you could use this for an NOAC portable, you'd still be limited by cartriges.
