Solderless NESp... Coming soon!

I thought of the greatest idea for the worlds easiest NESp. I will use and Intev Screen Pad (Because no one seems to want it), a SuperJoy III, an NES controller, and a 4 AA battery pack, AND NO SOLDER! How is this possible you say?

The SJ3 has a ribbon cable type thing that's already soldered to the NOAC. Cut that, strip it, and wire it to the screen (Which doesn't need solder). Then wire the controller and the battery pack. Go crazy with electrical tape and BANG you're done!

If I do it, I'll write a tutorial! Before I start, I have a question. Am I nuts?

They did solderless Xbox modchips, you can do a solderless portable.

Nice. Still, I'm a cheap bastard. I can't afford it if it's more than 10 dollars or I could really use it. Plus, since I don't have an Xbox, I don't need one

Sounds good, but for a portable you may need the extra durability you get with solder. But this could be a very nice proof of concept

That was a few years back. Most of the Mobile Equipment is still intact, cept for the screen. It died. So rigged its battery up directly to the nes for no apparent reason.

I've had the XBIT solderless modchip installed in my XBOX for a few years now. It works great but maybe I'm just lucky. I dunno.

My nes mobile used a portable dvd player, av selector box, 2 nine volts, and an nes. Still have the NES, the dvd player battery which was modded to power the nes/snes, avselctor box, and such, but the dvd player died. Once i get a new screen I will fix the mobile equipment back up.
