Oh ok, so if I were to hook it up to a 9.6v battery I have to hook it up to a regulator such as an LM317T and then to a 7805 (like the one on the PSone screen) in order for it to work.
I do want to know a little bit about the LM317T, like what each pin is such as ground, where to put the unregulated power, and which pin outputs the voltage. If I were to do this, do I need resistors to get the desired 7.2 volts?
But it I were to hook up a 7.2v battery, I don't even have to worry about adding any regulators to begin with correct? The reason I would rather do the above, is because the 7.2v battery is a Ni-Cd, but yet again I guess I could always buy an Ni-Mh.
