Is the Super Joy III worth it?

Post by csurban »

After extensive research on the Super Joy models, I found many horror stories about the products cheap design. It seems there are the original ones with real product and serial numbers and cheap ripoffs with no identification numbers on it. I'm really concerned about people claming that it freezes up often. I'm thinking of buying the 76 game version because I don't really care about the build-in games. Can anyone tell me a place on the Internet where you bought one and it worked fine? This is the website I'm considering ordering from:
http://www.powerplayerusa.com/
Has anybody have any experience with this site? Is there a better store I can buy from?
nope... can't think of anything I could possibly want to put in my Signature Block...

The horror stories you hear of are because the companies that make these are using cheap manufacturing techniques with little or no quality control. So occasionally you will get bad batches that get sount out.

And I don't know about that site, as it's claiming that you can play n64 games on it which is something I'm pretty sure you can't do with a super joy.

I bought my SJIII off that site, it's legit. Took about a week to arrive.

Me too, but it's not cheap.

Read this glowing customer reviews!

"Love the game. Great pass time. I'm not heavily into video games and the sort but this fulfills what tendencies I do have plus some."

ZOMG it's so easy to work with! I started work with an XBox portable, and was getting a little ticked off at all the stupid little things popping up... so I got one of these superjoys to make a simple portable... and it's great fun! Small board, easy to work with, light on battery drain, and great support because, well... I think most of the collective 'us' out there have played around with it or made a port out of it!
In short, it's a great 'first time' portable! The only trick is making yours stand out from the rest... gotta be creative with this thing.
