would a potetmeter work for the psone screen...

I have it working but when I press the britness and voulme buttons, it isn't green, but disoted green and I think it has to do with the thingy that came off that is right next to the fuse you have to jump to get it to work if it is fried, would a potentmeter work for that

I'm afraid not - the controls on a psone screen are digital, and a potentiometer is analog.

it has been suggested (by.. gannon?) that the control is connected to a digial potentiometer somewhere. if it is you could replace that with a manual one.
