If you know what they are and you're grandpappy happens to have one, I'd be interested in buying. :D

And BTW: These things own laserdiscs.

Oh, Jesus. Those are the analog video disk things, right? If so, then I saw one in a garage sale once, but I had too much crap in my room to get it (still do).
Getting a tan while everyone else is in a blizzard... >.<

There is a store in my town that has a WHOLE WALL of them for sale. But they havent been open sense april (all the stuff is still in the store so i doubt they closed down). When they open up ill tell ya.

wow, you've seen one of these in action? does the performance degrade from needle wear like a record does? I always wondered.

and how do static problems factor in? I've been a LD fan for a while, and have always wanted to see its competition in action. not many movies on the system, unfortunately.

I havent seen one played for years. But i dont think static is a problem with these things.
