broken n64.

Hi guys,

I picked up a couple of n64's this weekend at yardsales. Only 1 of them worked, the other one light's up, but doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know where I can find some good / detailed information on the internet about repairing these units. I saw that Nintendo still repairs them, but don't want to pay that much for a n64. Thansk.

Have you tried reseating the jumper pack?

also try to replace the jumper packs with ones that work

check the power connections and check the AV connections

sometimes the video cable doesn't make a good connection with the plug, but that doesn't happen very often

Thanks so much. As soon as I got home I opened up the jumper pack port only to find no jumper pack. As soon as I stopped being so embarresed about being stupid, I hunted one down to & ......

You saved an N64. Thanks man.
