Where could i find some portable consoles with case mods? Like a gbo in a custom case, or any portable with a custom case.

Has anyone done anything like this?

Um, yeah, the second example is pretty much all that's done around here (at least among those that are not too lazy to get off their computers

)

If you are looking for some examples, http://www.portablesofdoom.org is your best bet. It's a bit outdated, but has some good stuff in it.

The second thing i suggested wasnt like a homemade portable, i mean like a gameboy, gamegear, ds, or somthing like that modded in a new case.

one of those in the completed page is cennar's GBOMG, which is a GBA SP in a GBO case. Otherwise, I guess it's not very common.

Well, Dkap (aka Dave) made a custom GameBoy Advance with a 5-inch backlit LCD display. This was before the SP came out, though.

You must be more specific, a portable console (the console is what plugs into your tv) is something like a N64p or PSp. You are talking about a handheld, like a GBC.
I've overclocked my GBC and put a charger inside.

how did dkap01 do that anyway?

I know to use a GBA for a portable you need to hack a GBA TV Tuner

This looks like something I would like to do later...
