Post by jellywerker »

As in the title, what tools would you put on a linux live cd for security and hacking? By linux tools, I mean ones that run on linux. List away : )

hacking in the 80's sense of the term, and everywhere I have asked this, someone refered me to phlak! got to the website yourself, it is down! and it has been down for several weeks, not to get mad at you, but tools please! not distros, I know of prettymuch every linux distro out there, live and non-live, so please, I beg of you (/me withers into mumbling heap.) tools please!

If you just want it to fix something thats wrong on the computer, knoppix, Gnoppix, DSL or almost any live distro will work.

If you want a list of live cd distros to check out go to either linux.org (and look under distrobutions) or Distrowatch. Both have a large number to list.
